Sandbag Count and Delivery for March 17

As of today, Wednesday, March 17, 935,000 sandbags have been filled at sandbag central and 700,000 have been delivered to Fargo neighborhoods. Organizers hope to fill 65,000 sandbags today which would complete our goal of filling one-million sandbags. This goal is expected to be reached this afternoon. At that time sandbag filling operations will be put on hold and the “Denny’s Bucks for Bags” program will end.

Volunteers are still asked to help our community by placing sandbags in neighborhoods. Shuttles will be transporting residents to and from neighborhoods from the shuttle site at First Assembly of God Church, 3401 25th St. S., Fargo. Shuttles will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
