In preparation for a potential spring flood, the City of Fargo is providing a flood protection consent form for private property owners along the City’s flood protection alignment. This form grants permission to the City and US Army Corps of Engineers to construct or remove emergency flood protection structures such as temporary clay levees, innovative flood fight products and sandbags.
Property owners may download the form from the Flood Information Center Web site at www.cityoffargo.com/flood and return it to the City Engineering Department in person or by postal mail. Consent forms are also available at the Engineering Department office located at 200 3rd St. N. Residents with flood related questions are encouraged to call the flood information hotline at 701-476-4199.
