Moorhead needs volunteers Monday at 10AM at MSCTC to increase sandbag reserves. Volunteers are asked to car pool, if possible, and park in the West or South lot. Current sandbag reserves in Moorhead are low and need to be replenished. Sandbags will be used for dike breaches or problems over the next week, as floodwaters will likely remain high and place pressure on the existing dike systems.
Dilworth is assisting asks volunteers to report to the former Wal-Mart site on Highway 10, where they will be shuttled to the Dilworth sandbagging site. Dilworth volunteers report at 8AM.
Please bring a shovel if possible and dress for cold conditions.
