In order to ensure the safety of ALL personnel in the Oakport Township area, travel will be limited to emergency purposes only. The following restrictions are in place in Oakport Township.

Access to Oakport is limited to County Rd 22 ( Wall Street) from County Rd 20 in Fargo

Personal identification will be required for movement in the Oakport area

Only those individuals actively engaged in flood prevention with their homes will be allowed in the area

Only those persons who are capable of effectively preforming flood prevention duties with their homes will be allowed in the area. Where possible those individuals involved should make every attempt to work in pairs.

Individuals who are actively engaged in flood prevention with their homes that require additional supplies, i.e.gas, pumps, survival supplies,etc will be escorted to their homes by Law Enforcement or those designated for that purpose.

Sandbags,sandbagging, and volunteers for sandbagging will no longer be allowed into the area.

Night time operations and movement through the area will not be allowed

If for any reason Law Enforcement deems any part of Oakport Township to be impassable for safety reasons no travel will be allowed.

Checkpoints will be staffed by Law Enforcement
